A Wakefield schoolgirl has won a 'name that street' competition run by Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) and Bramall Construction.
Isabelle Brooke, a student at Sandal Endowed Primary School, won the competition to name the new street that runs through WDH's recently completed Woodville Court development in Portobello.

Working in partnership with leading social housing contractor Bramall, WDH chose Isabelle's entry, "Waterbrooke Close".
As the competition winner, Isabelle was invited to inspect Waterbrooke Close and she was thrilled to see her street sign.
"It looks great and I'm really proud," said Isabelle, 10. "I'm so glad I came up with the name, but it was a hard choice to come up with it.
"I wanted to call it Isabelle Street after me, but didn't think that would win. But then I thought my surname is Brooke and because a brook is a stream with water, I thought "Waterbrook" sounded nice so I went for that.
"It's also brilliant that the homes are so eco-friendly and look great. I'm thrilled to win and be part of something so beautiful."
Woodville Court, Portobello, comprises of 15 two and three-bedroom houses and was completed in September.
The houses have been built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 using a range of energy efficient features including photovoltaic solar panels, which use sunlight to generate electricity.
These features will help to reduce carbon emissions and the
occupier's energy costs.
