One of the country's best known social housing and
regeneration specialists has appointed a new business development
team to support the company's impressive performance and
continued growth.
South Yorkshire-based Bramall Construction has made three appointments to support its growth into the key areas of Yorkshire, Humberside, the East Midlands and East of England.
The company has promoted Peter Dixon to Head of Business Development after 10 years with Bramall. He is joined by Buinsess Development Managers Glen Eaton, who covers the East of England and East Midlands, and Yorkshire and Humberside area specialist Paula Broadbent.
New recruit Glen, who will lead activity in the East of England and East Midlands, previously worked for Miller Homes and has more than 13 years' experience in the industry.
Paula joins from North Yorkshire County Council, where as Strategic Development Manager she led the authority's Extra Care strategy. She will work on developing Bramall's business in Yorkshire, Humberside and the East Midlands and on its Extra Care specialist services.
Peter, whose expertise lies in new build and Extra Care, said: "After being part of Bramall's success and growth for 10 years, it's great to have the chance to lead a committed, talented team into new areas for us.
"We need to remain at the forefront of the social housing sector delivering even more efficient and innovative housing in the years ahead. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference."
The team will also include bid manager Sarah Banner who joined Bramall in March 2009. Sarah has recently been involved with the successful tender to build a £9.9m Extra Care facility in Soham for Sanctuary Housing Association. Her role within the team will be to provide the initial link in developing leads and bids to full orders.
Bramall Managing Director Neil Baxter adds: "In Peter, Glen,Paula and Sarah, we have a fantastic team in place and are ready to build on the excellent progress we have made in recent years.
"Their experience of the housing sector and the geographical areas in which we work means they are well equipped to do this.
"They will become well known in the sector in the years ahead."
