Bramall to Host Extra Care Event

Bramall Construction are to host an event focused around Extra Care in partnership with Greenwoods Solicitors LLP and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).

The event titled 'A Journey Through Extra Care - the people, the places the future', is supported by the Department of Health and the Housing Learning and Improvement Network.

The event will take delegates on a journey through extra care, setting the scene so far, looking at the challenges going forward and identifying what the future could look like.

Our ageing population presents major challenges to regional and local policy makers, service planners and providers across health, housing and social care. The way we design, develop, manage and deliver accommodation and related support services for older people is an important element in creating a future where we will all be able to live life as fully and safely as possible.

The event will take place at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel in Cambourne on the 27th and 28th April 2010.
