Art Success for Soham Youngsters

Four Soham youngsters are celebrating after scooping prizes in an art competition held by leading UK housing provider Sanctuary Group and social housing contractor Bramall Construction. Children from Weatheralls Primary and St Andrews Primary schools were invited to come up with ideas and a design for the landscaping around a new building currently being constructed at Lode Close in the town.

The winners - Katie Ellis from St Andrews and Weatheralls pupils Elli Oni, Cleo Whyte and Matthew Clarricoates - were presented with certificates and gift vouchers at an event last week.

Bramall is currently working with Sanctuary to redevelop Keith Leonard House care home on Lode Close. The site will be transformed into a £10million state-of-the-art Extra Care facility, comprising of 92 older person's apartments and facilities including a gym and hairdressers.

The winning designs will be displayed in the reception of the new building.
