Bramall's extra care schemes have been hailed the 'best
in the business'.
Bramall Construction's recent work in developing housing and Extra Care schemes for older people has been recognised at an award ceremony honouring the best providers in the industry.
The company recently won an award at the national 'Over 50s Housing Awards' at a ceremony in London, for its ground-breaking work in the sector in recent years.
Bramall won the award in the "Most Outstanding Construction Entity in Over 50's Housing in the UK in 2009" category, beating off competition from numerous other organisations in the sector.
Editor of "UK Over 50s Housing Weekly News", Esmonde Crawley, who presented the award, said:
"There is no group in the UK more willing or able to
undertake construction, building and development partnerships; and
upon whom one can rely for a steadfast adherence to standards; a
rigour over budgets and time frames; and a growing and enduring
body of work".
The award caps a great year for Bramall, which is well on the way to developing some of the 'greenest' older people's schemes in its operational areas of Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands and the East of England..
Glen Eaton, who collected the award on behalf of Bramall said: "We're extremely pleased, to have won this award, which underlines the difference we are making working in partnership with Housing Associations and Local Authorities in local communities up and down the country."
